Starshine

Opening October 2026

Support the artists you love

Send Flames, discover shows, and talk with those who inspire you.

Starshine connects fans and artists like never before.

A social network built for artists, not for the algorithm

Starshine is the first network where the artists you love aren’t competing with a guy selling pizzas and a brand selling dresses. Everything here is built for one thing: so that you decide who rises.

  • Metal
  • Rock
  • Punk
  • Hip-hop
  • Electronic
  • Jazz
  • Pop
  • etc.
    and more

Here you don’t “like”. You declare your flame.

Every month you get 500 Flames. You hand them out however you want, on a post or straight onto an artist’s page. One, or fifty at once. A Flame isn’t a thumbs-up that vanishes into a counter: it’s support that moves your artist up the ranking. Your credit refills every month, so you may as well use it.

Fair rankings, scene by scene.

The metal band you back doesn’t face a rapper, and that rapper doesn’t face an accordion player. Every scene has its own ranking, monthly and yearly. Solo artists are ranked apart from bands: a guitarist doesn’t take on a quintet. So your Flames weigh where they really count.

No algorithm. None at all.

Every post is visible, every post is searchable, every post gets the same reach. No sorting, no throttling, no favourites. One post fills the screen, one at a time. You swipe when you’re done. Moving on is your call, not that of a feed scrolling three posts fighting for your attention. So hashtags carry real weight. They don’t push an artist’s page up, they make the post genuinely findable under that word. And since a post carries three at most, every one of them counts: nobody can file themselves under thirty keywords at once.

Zero AI. Nowhere in the app.

No generated content, no fake artists, no computed recommendations, no automatic summaries, no opaque moderation. What you see was written, played, filmed and posted by a human. On a music network that should go without saying. Today it has become the exception, so we say it plainly: here, everything that passes in front of you comes from someone.

The only ads you’ll see are the artists’.

No brands, no outside sponsors. Three formats and nothing else: a video or a single, an album release, a gig. And since slots are limited per scene, a band can target Lyon alone for its Lyon date. So you only see what actually concerns you, in your city and in your styles.

Your feed, you build it yourself.

You pick your styles and your area, nothing invites itself in. That’s what makes you discover local artists instead of the ones with the biggest budget. And every artist you give a Flame to joins a feed of their own: all your flamed artists in one place, with nothing in between.

You don’t put up with your feed any more. You decide it.

A mutual aid community around the artists you love

Starshine created Fanhome, a mutual aid community built around the artists you love. When one of them comes near you, on tour or for a single show, you offer your help: a couch for the night, a ride to the venue, hands to carry the gear.

Nothing is bought and nothing is sold here. You get thanked in tickets, goodies, backstage, open rehearsals, and moments the audience never gets. An account that asks an artist for money is banned.

  • Housing

A couch or a spare room, just for the night of the show.

  • Transport

A ride between two cities, or just to the venue.

  • Roadie

Load in, load out, carry. The real life of a tour.

  • Promotion

Put up posters and spread the word around you.

  • Extra

Be in the video, or in the crowd of a shoot.

  • Translator

Help a foreign band make itself understood.

What they give back

  • Tickets
  • Goodies
  • Backstage
  • CDs and vinyl
  • Signings
  • Early access
  • Rehearsal invite
  • Masterclass
  • Exclusive time
  • Credits
